“As an Officer of 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery, David believed passionately in supporting the positive health and well-being of the men under his command as well as veterans, with specific regards to those who are living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
“It was very important to ensure the incredible amounts of money so generously donated were put to use straight away and that all funds raised are used to support personnel and veterans, who have experienced physical and psychological trauma as a result of service in the British Armed Forces, rebuild their lives through The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund.”
So far, over two-hundred and twenty beneficiaries have received financial support from The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund as means to assist in rebuilding lives of personnel and veterans who have experienced physical and psychological trauma as a result of service in the British Armed Forces. Beneficiaries have used the funds to purchase specialist rehabilitation and sports therapy equipment, enable respite breaks and PTSD therapy as well as facilitate supported employment placements and the setting up of small businesses.
The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund raises money for David’s chosen charity, Help for Heroes. A special account has been set up to record and manage all donations and fundraising in memory of David, so you can be sure that your details and donations are safe in the charity’s hands. Please remember to mention in any communications that you are donating to David’s fund, so the staff can ensure your gift is correctly recorded.
Help for Heroes is responsible for the administration and distribution of financial grants through their national welfare programme.
The assessment of applications and purchase of products and services is managed by the charity’s experienced Grants Team and not by the Seath family; so please do not send any applications to the Fund.
